A matrix in which each row corresponds to an observed variable and each column corresponds to a common factor.
Each row contains the coefficients used to express the standardized observed variable in terms of the factors.
These coefficients are called factor loadings. Factors with large coefficients (in absolute value) for a variable are closely related to the variable. It is also called the factor pattern matrix. When the factors are uncorrelated with each other, the factor loadings are the correlations between the factors and the variables. In that case, it is also the factor structure matrix.
